JOST Werke SE First Half 2026 Financial Results Presentation
In this financial results presentation on seat11a, Romy Acosta, Head of Investor Relations at JOST Werke SE, presents the company’s First Half 2026 Financial Results and discusses financial performance, regional market developments, profitability, the integration of Hyva and the company’s outlook for 2026.
JOST Werke: Global Commercial Vehicle Systems Manufacturer
JOST is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of safety- and mission-critical systems for the on- and off-highway commercial vehicle industry. Following the acquisition of Hyva, the Group has developed into a significantly larger and more diversified company, operating across Transport, Agriculture and Hydraulics and serving customers throughout EMEA, the Americas and APAC.
First Half 2026 Financial Performance and Profitability
JOST entered 2026 with strong operational momentum. First-quarter revenue increased 12% to €417.0 million, driven primarily by organic growth of 9%, while adjusted EBIT rose 23% to €44.1 million. The adjusted EBIT margin improved from 9.6% to 10.6%, bringing JOST back into its strategic profitability corridor of 10–12%. Adjusted earnings after tax increased 17% to €28.3 million.
Hyva Integration and Synergy Potential
An important driver of the Group’s earnings development is the ongoing Hyva integration. The transaction substantially expanded JOST’s hydraulics activities and strengthened its presence in attractive international markets, particularly in APAC. Management has been implementing procurement, logistics, SG&A and cross-selling initiatives designed to extract further synergies from the enlarged Group.
Transport, Agriculture and Hydraulics Portfolio Diversification
The enlarged portfolio also provides JOST with greater resilience across economic cycles. Transport remains a core business, while Agriculture and Hydraulics provide exposure to different end markets and regional demand patterns. This diversification is particularly relevant against a backdrop of volatile truck and trailer markets and continuing geopolitical uncertainty.
Net Debt Reduction and Improved Leverage
JOST also made significant progress in strengthening its financial position. At the end of the first quarter, net debt had declined to €357.8 million, while leverage improved from 2.27x at year-end 2025 to 1.75x, returning to the company’s target corridor of 1.0x–2.0x.
JOST Werke 2026 Outlook and Margin Improvement
The H1 2026 presentation continues this story of profitable growth, integration and margin improvement. For 2026, JOST has targeted single-digit Group revenue growth, while adjusted EBIT is expected to increase at a faster mid-to-high single-digit rate. Further synergies from Hyva are expected to support an adjusted EBIT margin above the 9.5% achieved in 2025.
AMBITION 2030 and Long-Term Profitable Growth
The results underline the strategic transformation underway at JOST as the company executes its AMBITION 2030 strategy and leverages its expanded product portfolio, global footprint and integration synergies to drive profitable growth.
