Divisions and Market Segments
The Group is organised across four core divisions: Pintsch (rail infrastructure equipment), Bode (door and boarding systems for rail and road vehicles), Schaltbau (electromechanical components for rail, industrial, and automotive use), and SBRS (refurbishment of rolling stock and installation of charging infrastructure). Together they position Schaltbau across both established mobility platforms and the next wave of electrified transport.
Global Footprint and Manufacturing
Schaltbau operates four manufacturing sites in Germany and maintains 14 additional production locations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, supporting a globally distributed customer base of rail operators, OEMs, and industrial clients. The Group is a recognised leader in smart door systems (Bode) and DC-based electromechanical components (Schaltbau) two segments with high barriers to entry and long product cycles.
