Sanjay has worked for numerous big names in the sector, including Fidelity Investment, Allianz Global Investor, Union Investment, Kepler Cheuvreux, and Warburg. Having been on both the sell-side and buy-side, he also has a bird’s eye view of how the finance world works, which helped him identify the problems and solutions that led to seat11a’s inception.

When he’s not putting in the hours to grow the company or researching his next investment opportunity, Sanjay is a keen advocate for animal welfare and an active member of various animal rescue organizations. Sanjay is working out of the Frankfurt Office

Origin of Our Name

We get asked a lot about where we got our unusual name from, and if you’re a frequent flyer, you might know where it comes from. While working in the investment industry, we did our fair share of travelling to visit clients and companies.

This taught us the importance of extracting as much value as possible from each dollar we spend — and on the Airbus 321, that meant selecting exactly the seat 11a.
